I've had at least one person actually contact me with a flip flop of love/hate and threaten to kill me before.
The way I see it was, I was raised with a lot of "its YOUR job to make people around you feel loved and cared about because, as a performer, you have that ability. And its hard because a lot of people just feel happy and its fine, but then some people get too attached to it and before you know it, you are their messiah in their eyes....thats how I see it I suppose
