Yeah, I've heard of Morning Musume and AKB48, but that's about it. Never followed em or any real idol group. My first real exposure to closest thing was hololive. So every time people bring up idol culture and oshi in an argument I wonder are you really familiar with this things? Because if I'm being completely honest I don't think the majority of /vt/ were following idol groups pushing their oshis before hololive became a thing.
