Combined with the bigger projectiles, and you basically have a close-range shredder that you can use to chase people without reloading downtime. It also doesn't rely on a barrel stabilizer or extended mags, so there's less overall loot burden.
Just space your bursts out and you can keep going for as long as you have ammo, which is really good in case you get suddenly third partied
