>>51133738I actually think NoeFure is real but I'll play devil's advocate for a bit
>>You would have to believe that every single Holo is lying to you and that every single interaction is scripted and faked. This is possible. Generally speaking a lot of stuff is scripted, especially in sponsored streams or official streams on the main company channels (and the concerts/3Ds, obviously), in the sense that there is a script with general and/or specific things to say or not say during a stream. There was a discord leak proving this I believe, I don't have it on hand though.
>>To that end you'd also have to believe that Noel and Flare didn't go on a hotsprings vacation trip. Not necessarily, you can believe they went there but any stories they've mentioned on streams are exaggerated and/or fake
>>You'd also have to believe that either Noel lied about purchasing, not one, not two, but three new properties in Tokyo (Noel Studio V2, Fucknest V1, Fucknest V2), and that other Holos pretend to go over to those new properties all the time.Again, not necessarily, see above.
>>You'd have to believe Rushia and Pekora constantly breaking kayfabe to question NoelFlare is actually a keikakku doori move that is actually part of the kayfabe, they pretend to question it in order to lend it more creedence.Possible. Script:"NoeFure do a yuri bit, PekoRushiMarin react 'shocked'"
>>You'd have to believe that on THAT day, Noel's roommate got her hair, nails, and makeup done, AND posted a rare face pic just to lead people on.>>Then later she showed bruises that she inflicted with an "Xbox controller"Plausible deniability, she could've fucked an old ojisan in a love hotel as far we know
>>You'd also have to believe that every Holo that has mentioned the rings, which include Subaru, Towa, Marine, and I think Suisei, among others, is either lying about the rings on a previously agreed upon script, or that Noel and Flare actually got 5 figure platinum wedding rings for the sake of this lie. They can just get fake/cheap rings that look real enough and just told everyone to pretend otherwise? Probably one of the weakest arguments tbdesu
>>Finally you'd have to believe that every single Holo that has remarked on NoelFlare, which is the vast majority of them, coordinates with every other Holo and Noel and Flare themselves so as to keep their stories straight and not get tripped up in their lies. Because to date, I don't think there have been any inconsistencies in the stories, leading me to think things like Noel interrupting Towa and Subaru just to brag actually happened. Also staff like A-Chan would have to be in on it because she occasionally mentions it. Not to mention all the outsiders like Tamaki, those Nijis that did the couple interview, those independents that did the couple interview, and basically anyone that comes into contact with NoelFlarePossible, though a bit farfetched. It wouldn't take that much coordination honestly, send some Holos (staff would also be in on this) some made-up/exaggerated stories to talk about on stream at some point, with specific details to mention and you have a narrative. For chuubas outside Holo, just let them be deceived like the viewers and push the same narrative of true yuri like on other streams, it's easier than trying to incorporate them into the whole scheme. So long as they don't meet them irl, keeping up the kayfabe on stream shouldn't be much of an issue. Even if they do end up meeting up, if it's once or twice for professional purposes, they'd also keep the act up, but if they were/are friends and meet often, they'd get roped into following the narrative as well.
>If Cover were capable of constructing and upkeeping narratives as big as this one, they wouldn't be such a shitshow.Cover (staff/management) by themselves no, with the whole host of talents cooperating though, I think they could.
Sure it takes some decent d20 rolls at mental gymnastics but there is always room for doubt. Not even on-stream sexual acts, (its acting, literally in the name) or pictures of legal marriage documents (from outside Japan) would suffice (since they'd have to be censored and would thus be easily forged). Deniers will keep denying it until their final breath, and could be justified for doing so, as other people have faked worse things for longer.
