Preholo, everybody said she will never make it as an entertainer or singer or an idol and her decision of dropping out of school to pursue this goal will be the worst mistake of her life and it did look like that was going to be the case. She even had to come back and take a normal job in a hotel.
But a few years later, she again made a ballsy move of quitting this stable job to go back to japan and try one last time to get a job that matches her passion/interests and the moment she landed in JP, the lockdown happened and again it looked like would be the worst decision of her life.
BUT, during this time she discovered hololive and finally the world gave her an opportunity to do what she loves through the EN auditions and she was rewarded for these "stupid" decisions : her being in Japan at that time and her past experiences of being an underground idol and learning Japanese helped her clear auditions and now not only does she make significantly more money than preHolo but she also gets to perform on stage and make songs. It is why she is so grateful for this job and her fans.
Even when she leaves hololive, she would still have a dedicated fanbase of 200-500 fans and that would be 10 times the number of people watching her twitch streams preholo.
