The thing that made it obvious that it was intentional was the fact that rewind was enabled for that stream so people could rewind mid-stream. Holos pretty much never have the rewind option enabled and it just happened to be enabled for that stream where Mafu's message popped up? It's obvious it was enabled so people would immediately rewind and screencap it.
Her plan failed and she not only lost Mafu but her Holo career as well.
