Fuck all of you.
Calli's been nothing but supportive and complimentary of her genmates, interactions with Kiara had always been a tsundere act before the fans started making things weird. Kiara actually got a lot of hate during the time for being 'annoying and clingy', so dropping the act was for the best.
She's explained her attitude towards VTubers and idols before, that she didn't understand the appeal before but has grown to like VTubing and likes her co-workers. I'm sure she still has her reservations about idol culture, as any sane person should have, considering the fact that she can't even talk to people of the opposite sex without 'fans' getting salty about feeling like they're getting cucked.
So she applied on a whim; who actually cares, being a fan of something doesn't make you more qualified for a position.
She's never acted like she's better than the industry. If you're referring to her 'Off with their Heads' track, she very clearly takes aim at VTweeter gatekeepers in a perpetual state of pre-debut, not legit VTubers creating content.
The controversy surrounding CDawg is laughable. He never said that Hololive talents weren't talented, he said that even if they weren't they'd still get a big following from Hololive's name recognition, which isn't even arguable. New Hololive talents get to 250k subs before they've even debuted
And then the drama about Calli responding to a troll. This encapsulates the downsides to being a popular agency VTuber and being part of idol culture. People start getting salty about feeling cucked, other people can't even hold that portion of the community accountable and blame Calli for the whole thing.
The rest of the 'controversies' are laughable. Being tired, nervous or inexperienced aren't crimes. The Trash Taste podcast is actually pretty great, I don't see why mentioning them is a bad thing other than idol culture BS. Talking about alcohol, seriously?
Starting a Twitch account is just common sense considering YouTube's lack of interest to address and fix issues. Kobo has been banned at least twice already, and Kiara's also had her channel terminated. I don't understand why Twitch is treated as some kind of boogeyman, when other VTubers get on fine there.
