She gets alot of good will from the Hololive community because she was never hostile towards any portion of the community and doesn't start or involve herself in drama. That's why you'll see some hate threads but they aren't of malicious intent. Mainly, they are just valid criticisms of Gura because she doesn't stream or communicate.

Well, at this point in time I think people have basically given up on Gura. There are really only a few diehard holdouts still here. I've already swapped my membership from her to Fauna and have unsubbed from her channel. I don't keep dead channels in my subscription list.

I imagine it's the same for many. If she never came back I don't think anyone would truly notice, and it wouldn't have any impact on anything. She's... irrelevant now, sad as it is to say that. If she ever streams again she'll get high numbers ONLY because it's such a novel thing now. If she were to ever stream consistently going forward she'll stop being a 5view and will struggle to match Ina and Fauna once the tourists leave.

TL;DR, she's washed up now and it's her fault.

I think a lot of people - including me - were taken in by Gura's charisma and don't want to admit they've been had. When you look back though, her time at Hololive has been an endless stream of bullshit excuses while never actually delivering. $200,000 for a Queen cover anyone?!
