>>51679372suichan has genuinely inspired me to:
- do my best for my last few years of college
- do my music reps like never before (mastering my main instrument, try new instruments, composing, sometimes singing)
- start learning japanese
- pick up a pencil and get decent at drawing like i've wanted for years now (i'm still not good at facial expressions though, so i'm copying for the time being...)
this is rambling now, but on top of all that, she made me see that it really is possible to get really good at things by sheer power of will; i used to struggle seeing people more talented than me getting far easily, thinking i'd reached my limit already as i consider myself not naturally talented, until i saw her always giving it her all in things she cared about, even when she clearly sucked ass at first. i've genuinely managed to do things i thought were way past my skill limit. she actually rewired my mind in the most productive way possible.
