While it sounds ridiculous, that profit growth is entirely possible because they can, and investors expects them to, switch to a profit-oriented business when they are done with their growth.
That's when businesses focuses on cost-cutting and being efficient rather than reinvesting for growth.
When that happens the PER value would shrink all the way down to 1x-2x, which marks the end of the 'infinitely growing' phase.
