Here's the facts:
One, indie Nazuna makes no sense when there is indie Mikeneko. So it's just a character that would gather dust, as it makes no sense to maintain both herself. And there are people who prefer the Nazuna character design.
Two, Vshojo's income is solely derived from merch and sponsors. If it's the choice of a character that almost never streams but can still sell merch and be included in goofy shit like the maid cafe, and no character, which do you think they'd pick? Do you really think a stream quota would be an unmoving demand?
Three, while it wouldn't be an end to the friendship by any stretch, given that Kson is hard at work trying to get the VshojoJP branch off the ground, "losing" one member would not be a good for momentum.
So, it's basically free money, she'll help her friend, and it doesn't interfere with her ability to focus on Mikeneko. She can even ensure a clause is added that if they fail on things like permissions they have to compensate monetarily.
