This one is lengthy and I felt bad because I thought it might be too long..... But here it is, the continuation.
Selen crawled her way out of bed, still basking excited from this morning, waking up next to her favorite Dragoon always put a smile on her face but breakfast in bed next to them? She just knew it was going to be a great day. She made her way to the bathroom, where she peeled off her pajamas and hopped into the hot shower. Singing could be heard from the shower, and while it was a bit off-key and out of tune, Anon found it endearing and always cherished the sound. Selen finished showering and wrapped herself in a light pink towel, content. She took extra time to gently wrap her sensitive head-wings in a separate towel, making sure she didn't apply too much pressure to them but still got them dried. She stepped out of the bathroom still wrapped in her towel with a toothbrush in her lips and hunted through her closet before letting out a bit of an excited squeal. She grabbed a pair of black lacy panties, a black strapless bra, and a sundress. The sundress was yellow with pink flowers on it; it was one of her favorites.
When Anon saw her next, she was standing in the doorway with a bit of a shy smile on her face.
"How do I look...?" she asked, blushing, her eyes not meeting Anon's. She knew, of course, that Anon would approve; it wasn't the first time Anon had seen her in it, but every time she got dressed up for Anon, she still felt embarrassed.
Selen grabbed Ember's leash and dressed him, and together with Anon, they walked to the nearby park. Anon could hardly stop staring at Selen; she was always beautiful, but today she was radiating.
When they got to the park, Anon played fetch with Ember for a while with Ember's favorite frisbee. Unfortunately, the date was suddenly cut short by a loud CRASH as the sky erupted in lightning and thunder.
Selen, Anon, and Ember hurried under the roof of the bathroom. Even though it was just a bit of rain, Selen felt the tears welling up. It was supposed to be a special day with Anon and Ember. She had dressed up for it and everything, but it was all falling apart...
Anon took her dragon hand and squeezed it, reassuring her it was all okay. She looked at Anon with a sad expression, but Anon didn't mind the fact that the day was a bit wetter than usual. Every day with Selen was a treat. Anon loved Selen, and that was never going to change.
When the rain let up, Anon, Selen, and Ember all walked back home. At home, Anon laid out a large blanket on the dampish grass. The night was cool but not too chilly. Selen sat down on the blanket, waiting for Anon, while Anon secretly dipped back into the kitchen. It took a few minutes, but when Anon came back outside, Anon reached over Selen's shoulders and handed her a bubble waffle wrapped in a cone.
"Anon..." Selen said with almost a whimper to her voice. She was still kicking herself for not checking the weather report before planning out the day. Anon sat beside her, and they enjoyed their bubble waffles together. Selen and Anon laid down, looking at the stars together when a shooting star raced across the sky.
Selen had fallen asleep on Anon's arm without even realizing it, so Anon made a wish. "I wish you could see just how beautiful you are to me..." Anon whispered before closing their eyes and falling asleep under the moonlight, cuddling Selen.
