>>52101241>like not actually anyone for them to getIt can only look like that if you think they have to choose from <100 vtuber indies that this board is aware of. The reality is that there's plenty of utaites doing cover songs on YT who are not vtubers, plenty of small 2view streamers who are passionate about games and are not hoes, and if you're willing to expand your search beyond virtual content creators, the possibilities are endless. You can go to any touristy town square in Europe during summer and in every each one of them you'll find some girl with a soft voice like Gura's singing songs. For absolute vocal domination you can hire opera singers who are struggling to make a living. For an artist you can find thousands of Ina level illustrators on ArtStation or Pixiv and so on. If the applicants who applied for EN3 are shit, it's on Cover to either settle for subpar choices or to hire at least 1 competent talent scout to find gems. They could hire another 5 girls that would blow Myth and Council out of the water with their singing, gaming or art skills, but you just know they won't go out of their way to do that because as long as you slap the magical blue dorito logo on an average person, she's bound to get 5k+ viewers.
I really enjoy watching HoloJP with a few select talents from EN/ID, but nowadays Cover is jut not the same company it was prior to 2020. They can now pull off shit like record companies that get average 4-5 members to form boy/girl groups, get the best producers, advertise the shit out of them and as a result of that sell millions of records and get hundreds of millions of views/plays. I'm personally not expecting anything from EN3 simply because they don't need to try anymore. I hope I'm wrong, but it feels like each year they're getting closer to losing their "soul" and producing average goyslop.
