Why are people making such a big deal about male interaction? Hololive never has an issue with it back then and even now, you have Suisei, Towa and recently Korone as an example. Before poeple keep bringing up Idol culture and how it was the catalyst for Hololive success, let me remind you, Idol is not unicornism.
Idol has never been about gender segregation. Do you think female idol has to work with only female staff? No male is allowed to come anywhere close to them? That's ridiculous. At most, they only restrict romance/dating, which are based on the same reasoning as banning workplace dating, it's to make sure they are not distracted and focus on their work. And for idol, it also helps to avoid unnecessary scandal, drama and paparazzi. But unicorns went out and try to convince people that this was done to cater to them, which is a complete lie.
Give them an inch, they take a mile. First, they see the banning of dating as a sign of catering to them, next they demand girls are not allowed to talk to any male, then any male talking about them is also an issue? Unicorns just keep parroting this twisted, corrupted definition of Idols.
Idols has never being about catering to unicorn. Unicorns see the ban on dating as victory and they thought the ban must have been an effort to cater to them, therefore they must have been the majority. Later when Idol start to grow, they again come out to claim it's all thanks to them
