She also got addicted to gacha, initially she had a lot of interesting fun games but later she got into genshin and then honkai and then other gacha, even fotm gacha, it got to a point where half her weekly streams would just be gacha.
When she streamed a game it got her numbers to go up because players of that game tuned in, but that novelty wore off and it filtered her general audience, her gacha viewers would not tune in to anything else only the specific gacha they cared about.
So leaning so hard into gacha just filtered her audience but it wasn't evident enough because the gacha audience sustained her whenever she played their games.
She was also exposed for having a private discord server with some of her fans, initially she had a stream playing valorant with some of her fans. Her fan server had a valorant channel and a small dedicated valorant audience.
Because she interacted with them on stream she was able to get in touch with them through the game's friend list and ended up playing more games with them off stream. That led to her joining their fan server and the fan server split into a separate valorant/finana server with her. She got a slap in the wrist by management and left on her Finana account but she just rejoined on an alt account and they kept interacting. She apparently even streamed to them and shared her audition video for NijIEN which you can find if you search enough.
Because a lot of her appeal was a sort of GFE it actually hurt her a lot because those fans like the idea of getting close to their oshi, whales being able to donate more and get more attention from her over superchats is something they already accepted but having hearing she's literally hanging out with a small clique of her fans goes too far for them so they left.
Finana truly is a case to study of how to fuck up monumentally on so many ways.
