But it doesn’t change the fact that she still did the dumbest shit possible by defending him and downplaying it while her friends were publicly denouncing the guy, making herself look really suspicious when she didn’t have to. It also really raises eyebrows about the people she wants to surround herself with since she didn’t block him and still replied to him up until June 23, and while I get she’s a doormat it just makes her look like the easiest target for high profile groomers. And you’d especially think she’d know better with how many vtuber yabs she would make fun of it the past.
It’s not going to kill her career and she’ll be fine in a week knowing her fanbase, but it’s going to be a point of ridicule that won’t entirely go away for the antis that existed.
