>>5227307It's Mario Kart. They don't need to talk to each other or coordinate things in the game like, at all. It's not like A Way Out where they need to really talk, rather the total opposite and I don't see why that wouldn't have been thought out on purpose.
They literally can just make happy/annoyed noises/laugh at each other as they pass or use items on each other in the game for like 90% of the stream. The tricky part will be greeting and chatting with each other in the beginning/end parts where it's unavoidable. I mean ideally they'd try to chat a bit while playing the game too but it wouldn't be too bad if they didn't.
Also we really don't know if Nacho actually has a bit of English skill or not; most Japanese are taught English in elementary school and know it sort of like how many Americans were taught Spanish for years and technically know a bit - not enough to really talk but they can try to get by. I mean Mel actually could say a few sentences and talk a bit in English when collabing with Ame which was surprising because prior to that I had never heard her speak it - it turns out she's visited the US before, actively practices it etc.
