In this day an age Streaming is not only the main source or revenue but also socializing for some.
Vtubing just made it even MORE accesible for the later.
What i am more intrigue are how manny ARE ALSO the later but never say it.

It's always grifting. Literally the whole nature of what they're doing is lying to people because they're playing characters and they're doing it all for money. If it seems genuine then that just means they're good at making it seem genuine.
The best thing anyone can do is keep vtubers at arm's length.
