I wouldn't say she was good at it but her proficiency was good enough that I figured she wouldn't need Calli of all people to translate for her.

Azki has gotten a lot more viewers since last year, and they're all used to JP streams. Makes more sense to speak JP since the collab is on her channel.
Maybe she'd speak eigo on a collab on Mori's channel?
