Throwing them into the JP merge with KR, who were a literal dumpster fire, just seemed unfair and a recipe for destroying what little morale ID had left, since they were all barely even 3views but at least had a close family feel. Basically killing ID and throwing them into the massive sea of the main branch would have been anything but good for them.
