Things that big to be known worldwide have tons of small side projects that might slip through the cracks off the radar. That bidoof video was a pokemon project. It would count as a collab if she was the VA for the video but it's not the same level of collab as being the OP of the new mainline anime series. Doing something for a huge brand doesn't have to mean it's going to be seen worldwide.
