>>52462415The moment a 2view has a significantly bigger audience for some reason, like being raided by others or having a topic that fits the vtubing zeitgeist, they immediately start to interrupt their own flow:
>'wow thanks for the raid, everyone!' repeated for 30 minutes>'be sure to subscribe to (or follow) the channel!'>'here we like to do this thing where I do something very fanservice-y or an inside joke you won't get and I won't explain either!', bonus points if it's tied to donations>'so many people here, wow! I'm nervous!'>repeated for the remainder of the streamLook, I get it, this is your time to shine and get some more viewers for the future, and the chance of fucking it up makes you nervous, so you try to advertise yourself. You know what works best? Streaming normally. That way, newcomers see how you are usually and they have a more natural time.
I can't recall how many times I've tried to watch a new vtuber just to turn off the stream disgustedly after a while because nothing substantial was shown, just pure numberfaggotry and empty thank yous.
