To be fair, I don't really think >we are the ones she decided to listen to, but I definetly do believe that at least management had a word with her and told her to get her shit together a bit.
Now, there's always the chance she regresses again in the future (looking at past patterns, it's not even unlikely) when she thinks she's off probation and gets comfortable again and thinks she can get away with lower effort again, but as long as it lasts I'm not complaining. From a simple audience entertainment standpoint, even fake enthusiasm beats honest boredom any time.
