doing gachashit basically should count for like half the merit someone famous for doing excellent char designs for manga/anime because for a gacha jpg the artist doesn't actually have to try to visualize/convey movement and animation of the design, how does it look from certain angles etc because in-motion it's usually just going to be a chibi representation of it hiding how that design fully looks/moves from all angles.
for an anime char however that had to be fully thought through and tinkered with to work and is more directly-connected to something all about motion like a vtuber.
