The gameplay/gunplay is rock solid, super fun cleaving through hordes and most weapons/builds feel very viable.
But then everything outside of that is just... mediocre?
Lackluster map selection. Odd progression with penances. The fucking cash cosmetic shop.
There's a good game under there, Darktide will be great... in a year or more from now.
