So when's the actual hololive EN gen 3 announcement? Surely they wouldn't show us a teaser and then not say anything for six months?

Have you not watched EN vtubers? Lore trailers are a thing, the best you can hope for is that they waste budget on animation over say rigging, backgrounds, transitions, layouts etc

can't be a mixed gen. tempus is still borrowing the holostars brand. no fucking way they would be a hololive en gen if it's a mixed gen.
a mixed gen will only happen if holoen decides to fund and debut another "brand".
if tempus didn't borrow the holostars brand, they could actually pull that kind of shit. it fits with their guild theme too.

Council lore reveals happened in quick succession to build up the hype. If nothing gets confirmed in 2 weeks than it had nothing to do with new talent(s). Confirmation bias is why people are confident the holoEN teaser relates to EN3 because they are ignoring all the other possibilities.

No, the only reason people though it was EN3 is because they thought it having the EN title card after the teaser made it related to HoloEN rather than it being there since that was the end of the concert. FES4 has the same thing after their announcements, but people are too quick to think logically. I mean it could very well be a new gen, but for all we know it could be JP7 or ID4

There is no "EN3" and never will be. Tempiss was the actual third and fourth gens. I'm guessing the trailer was some other project, maybe a Halloween anime short with the spooky vibe it gave.
