>>5286533So how it works is that you get your movie prepared ahead of time, whether it's for rent on YouTube (which she usually tries to look for, for the sake of legality) or on some kind of streaming service (as Netflix sometimes has stuff she watches), or you just download it elsewhere
Then when the stream starts, you have your movie ready for syncing up, you start when she says "3 2 1 go" and then she usually describes what she sees, and once you're in sync, you're good to go
You then just watch the movie with Ame and the rest of us teamates, then post about the movie in the threads
The only issues is when you have desync or the version of your movie has a different length, which usually leads to anons asking about their movie's length just so everyone can be sure; sometimes it's just extra credits, but there's been a case where there was a new scene or two added

These watch-alongs have helped me watch movies I would have never considered watching before but for the most part I've really enjoyed 'em
