Same, and I don't even know why I feel this way. It's not like people magically deserve to become rich streamers, but nonetheless I always end up pitying them when they're sitting there with a professional setup and spending hours of their lives talking into the void.

That happened to me once, someone just casually linked some stream and I go in and I'm the only viewer and then I realize it was probably the streamer who linked it.

If it helps, I'm sure someone who is at that point in their streaming career understands that even if nobody's watching, it's good to practice talking and coming up with things to say without relying on having chat to bounce off of. And hey, maybe someone will still end up watching the VOD.
