I was just jacking off to some milfxshota porn and after I achieved post-nut clarity I realized something.
Hololive English desperately needs a high energy spaz for EN3.
Think of Miko, Pekora, Sabaru, Korone even IND has Ollie. Somehow they manage to be always "on", like they're a caricature who just stepped out of a cartoon. Some people think they're annoying but their superb showmanship helps maintain the illusion that they're characters in a show and it's integral to the verisimilitude of vtubing as a whole. Without the fiction that these are characters instead of people then vtubing merely becomes streaming and loses it's soul.
Now you compare that kind of acting to HoloEN.
Ina, Fauna and Kronii are horse tranquilizers in human form, relaxing perhaps but too boring to be characters.
Mumei and Ame have that sort of deranged personality you might see on a sitcom, but it's always a bit forced and sporadic.
Bae is an annoying zoomer.
Kiara tries too hard, it breaks the illusion to constantly have the actor desperately asking if they're doing a good job.
If Calli was a character she'd be written by Kevin Smith, nuff said.
Gura is the closest to a natural character but she's too lowkey, too SoL, and what HoloEN desperately needs is ADHD incarnate. Not just for the illusion but for the contrast, they need someone so wacky you'll be running to an Ina stream just to catch your breath.
