There's the technical aspect-- can you sing or not; the entertainment aspect-- is it enjoyable to watch you sing; and the emotive aspect-- can you cause the audience to feel what you're feeling when you sing. The first aspect will get you pretty far in the classical or church circuits but some mix of the last two are what you need to make it in popular performance. Mr. Koro, Polka, etc. are decently proficient at singing but more importantly for an animated livestream they know how to play to the crowd.
