>>53537221It'll probably evolve into some new niches as people attempt to figure out what else to do/talk about on stream. Games and zatsus only go so far, but the models are also pretty limited too. If the tech doesn't evolve a lot to help chuubas become a lot more expressive and able to do more with moving their bodies, then it might hit kind of a rut where it doesn't get a lot of new fans anymore and old ones just ride it out slowly.
Chuubas themselves also don't last forever and eventually people will all cycle out of one (..at least one) oshi either through their graduating or just yabbing into becoming unwatchable. As fans have to keep picking up the pieces and starting over again with new oshis, they would develop I would assume a more transactional, pragmatic view of vtubing, as being simply an alternative to watching TV or anime and not treat it like a lifestyle you become doggedly devoted to. So with that more grounded view, average chuuba income probably will go down a lot, besides GFE ones who probably will get more desperate to please their whales if they think you usually can't make it on normal content anymore unless you're ultra-famous.
