As for the rest of it, everything she said is entirely logical. Nobody in Hololive would say anything bad about HoloStars directly, that would be against company policy. She correctly recognizes that Stars collabs stifle growth and just cause unwanted controversy. There's nothing to be gained. (Aside from "owning the haters".)
Honestly, I'm sure most of the Stars themselves would agree at this point. The overlap is vanishingly small, and anyone who would want to watch both branches do so already. Collabs may bring a few tourists for the novelty, but they don't stay for solo streams. It's lose-lose. If StarsEN really want to grow, they need to find new audiences. A shockingly large number of HoloEN viewers gave them a chance at debut, but most found out it was not for them. These people will not return and courting them again is pointless.
I respect Kiara for addressing it directly. The other alternative is what everyone else does, which is just to ignore those kind of SCs. But if they were forced at gunpoint, they'd probably say similar things. (Well, they could also go for the classic JP "I'm shy" defense I suppose, but we all know what that means.)

It's kinda hold but the first people to say thing like that were actually the holostars JP. They pretty much had the experience. They never gained view or sub collabing with the girl, and some even lost or got some of their fan go mehera about that (astel).
And well they did their best and kinda were gaining some traction then the tempus catastrophe happened. And let's be honenst now the brand is totaly back to the start, hated, no growth, miserable, it's maybe even worse cause now they are intricaly within the shadow of hololive and that will hinder any potential success forever.
After tempus i am pretty convinced that stars have no chances of success at all, and are pretty much doomed to slowly but surrely completly disapear within the 3 to 5 incoming years, achieving nothing outside loosing time for themselves and the company.
Even Roberu would be honnestly better of leaving and presenting as a commical duo with mea instead of staying a cover contractor nowoday.

I can't speak to StarsJP at all since I have no clue about them, but it's looking kind of bad for Tempus right now. (With two of their largest members' future uncertain.) From what I've heard, Cover really didn't expect them to do well, so maybe this is well within expectations, but it certainly wasn't the breakout success they might have seemed like at debut.
I think you're onto something with regards to being under the same label. Male Nijis do well (generally speaking), but that's because the whole structure is different. (Mixed gens, etc.) I can understand that Cover wanted to leverage their existing brand power to boost their new branch, but because of the norms established by the idol culture they themselves have pushed, it would probably be a better idea to simply make an entirely separate thing and plug it on the main channels, keeping them completely distinct otherwise. If you want to go the idol route, you can't half-ass it.
Either way, I just hope homobeggars get with the program soon. This really doesn't have to be a culture war. If they truly want the boys to succeed, just support them directly. Nobody who watches Hololive will bother them, but we cannot be responsible for StarsEN growth either.

EN management was clearly incompetent when stars EN was made. one of their mistakes were hiring people with no experience with japanese corpos and not big fans of the Stars. Despite Magni and Vesper being the biggest bunch, they don't seem like good fits at all. The 2nd gen Stars fit the brand much better

I gave them a chance at debut. I liked the Raft and part 1/2 of the Zomboid collabs. Watched Gen 2's debuts but 2 of them were extremely annoying and I don't want to risk having to watch a collab with a small % chance of either of them. I only watch the girls on both EN and JP now.

Ever since Tempus dropped, it's degraded the Stars brand and they weren't even popular to begin with. They were liked, or people didn't care. Maybe you don't immediately drop membership, but maybe you watch less streams (since you don't watch these collabs at a minimum). Then when merch comes around, you don't buy the set anymore. I'm more of a Nijifag but I'm under the impression Holostars is hurt by its association with Hololive more than anything. Female fans of male vtubers are hesitant to support Stars because they don't want their money going towards a company whose primary product will always be female vtubers. And male fans will always only see Stars as a side option when the girls aren't streaming, very few male fans actively choose to watch Holostars over Hololive.

If they wanted a "unified" fanbase they would've needed to go the Nijisanji path of a mixed branch from the start. Having two separate branches of the same company just creates animosity and bitterness within the fanbases. The other option would've been branding Holostars as something completely different and entirely separate from Hololive, like what 774 and Brave Group do with their various vtuber companies, so fans could be assured that they are financially and culturally separate. I honestly just really don't care who I watch I watch what I want. And the big issue with many of the males is
1) I'm very much on a JP friendly schedule due to working overnights so most of them are not streaming at good times
2) Game Pick as even if I want to watch the Stars be them EN or JP they just have mediocre game choice (although this also plagues the girls as well) as my tastes are weird and I rapidly tire of FOTM type games even if my Oshi plays it. And with FOTM games I may hard bounce a massive amount of potential streams because I'm so turned off the game being played.

The one-off collabs are fun special episodes, but it's like when cartoons would have crossover episodes; just because Codename Kids Next Door has a crossover episode with Billy & Mandy it doesn't mean they're going to start watching the other cartoon if they were already aware of it and not interested to begin with. There's not enough exposure or natural behavior.
It's why shit like Minecraft actually works, it's long-form collaborative content that exposes people to more natural behavior than a direct Collab, which is more like a social event. People get caught up in each other's autism and find it endearing or interesting. I bet Kaela got so much attention simply because she's always present and doing her own thing that it catches people's interest.

People said the EXACT same cope when Luxiem came out. As a former lazusydia fan I can tell you straight up that the branch went to complete shit practically over night because of when Luxiem and more importantly Luxiem's trashfire of a fanbase came in.

That particular screencap was a combination of /#/ raiding an obscure thread which homobeggars didn't pay attention to.
There was a later thread with the exact same topic that blew up to thousands of upboats that went "better" for the beggars.
However even there the most upvoted comments were basically saying "stop dramafagging retard"

tl;dr homobeggars still have too much control of the sub for now but the tide is turning, people are getting more and more tired of them and anti-homo posts (either stealth or open) can no longer be suppressed by downvote bombing.

Well the EN homo fanbase isn't doing well. Take a look at /mans/ nowoday (if you can handle the amount of gayshit and yumejo going crazy) but the amount of doomposting is kinda insane for a general. Homo are also losing step on reddit, and after tempus debut it was the first time ever they had this issue. Not only that but the viewership are always reaching new lows despide having the vesper/magni drama who should have make the homo community mark a strong comeback but their full collab minus two got attrocious numbers. Honnestly, it's grim. If vesper or magni graduate they won't live for one year, if they are terminated tempiss isn't gona pass the winter.
