Remember when Beatani mentioned the manga ちひろさん aka "Call Me Chihiro"? Well I finally got around to watching the Netflix original anime, and it pretty obvious what she meant by it. Chihiro drifts though life not giving a shit while getting simped by a bunch of orbiters. She befriends a literal hobo and eats lunch with him every day. She even goes out of her way to give some remote kids some correction. It's pretty obvious that Beatani/Chihiro (two sides of the same person) is modeled after Chihiro from "Call me Chihiro"
