I'm like a 7/10 and would always hang around her and try to make her laugh, and it went on for about 8ish years where I would just chill with her.
one day during a football game, we sat next to each other and one of her friends asked if she liked me in a romantic way and she said yes (it was obvious I was into her so there wasn't a need to ask me)
We agreed to go on a date at a cafe but I honestly thought she was just pulling my leg and wasn't serious so I didn't show up
Turns out she showed up and waited for me for 2 hours. In the end we just stayed friends (and she ended up moving away)
such is life i guess
