>>53841101I still think 2017 was a better year (BotW, Splatoon 2, Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade 2, NieR Automata, RE7, Persona 5, and the list goes on), but this year has been pretty good, especially on the Japanese side of things with games like TotK, FFXVI the RE4 remake, Wild Hearts, and upcoming games like Pikmin 4 and Armored Core. I'm not super interested in BG3 since I bounced off of both D:OS games, but that looks good and even if Starfield ends up being bad it'll generate the hype that any Bethesda game does.
