In other words, that laundry list they fired her for could be considered defamation under Japanese law; It was a public statement that hurt the reputation of another person. On the other hand, if she can prove the claims she made in that document are true, California law would say she's not guilty of defamation. If they try to sue her for anything other than breaching NDA they are being extra dumb.
