Even Zaion's merch was still available while she was confirmed suspended. There's literally no reason to withhold digital merch recorded months ago to coincide with a return from an absence we don't know the reason for. As far as Cover have announced, everything is perfectly fine with them, but the likelihood is that they are trying to buy time to soften the blow. I can't think of a way Holo could justify this as anything else but termination.

Because arguing that they'll postpone merch for their return is cope when as far as we know there's nothing to worry about. They also continued the production and release of Rushia's engagement merch because they couldn't back out, but they can back out of withholding digital merch and they can pull them off of unannounced anniversary merch.

If we're being unironically curious and serious, cover can't sell their VPs for a variety of reasons. They can't make sales off talents that are still in negotiations, if they are in danger, they would be seen as tasteless and insensitive, and if their is no reason, then then being on the list would be seen as getting in financially while they're being seemingly disciplined
