The youtube channel and debut video (more like teaser) being erased doesn't happen just on a whim or by accident - it takes a conscious decision and an OK from top brass to nuke a Cover-owned channel - he ded. If it ever was a singular person, it is possible that they simply moved to another position doing something else in the company and dropped the Omega concept, but Omega the character is still dead in that case either way.
