All while Kiara screams in anger. Mori remaining stoic, "Why do you care? Everyone dies. You won't remember them and they will cease to remember you. You revive and their souls are brought to what lays beyond." Kiara enraged and defiant, saying that someone who doesn't understand the preciousness of life has no right to have control over it. Kiara breaks free and goes into one final fight. Mori watches and then cleans up the aftermath.
In a later time, they talk again and are able to see the points made from both.
Mori gets that humans exist beyond death through memories and deeds. To be remembered fondly is an honor, one she realizes will always allude her since she only deals with people once.
Kiara understands that Reapers seem cruel but for those who endure hardship in life, a good afterlife is all they can hope for. It's merciful in a way. But that does not meant one should ever roll over and accept death.
