and more importantly 2. Are so socially inept that they live vicariously through their chosen vtuber/idols as if they were in an actual relationship and take any interaction with a male, even a purely platonic friendship/interactions like with Kronii and Vesper or even Calli with the TT boys, as her being a whore and betraying their fans when that really couldn't be further from the case
It's really just that simple. A decent chunk of posters here (aside from those simply pretending to be like that for the lols) cannot bear the thought that women can interact with men in a completely platonic way, when in reality, unless the idol is also incredibly socially stunted, the lives probably interact with their stars counterparts regularly, even if it's exclusively online. not even as friends but as simple colleagues.
That's basically it, the unicorns being overly "defensive" that their precious idols interacting in any way with men
