The joke is that the whole magging shit was a forced meme, started entirely by /vt/, for the sole purpose of making fun of Magni, while at the same time pretending that people liked him. Somehow, sisters didn't get the memo and started taking it seriously to the point where they thought it was honest and spammed it even more, leading to even Yagoo himself noticing it and thinking people were into him, which probably was what set off the entire by popular demand bullshit and Tempus 2.
Basically, any community that gets its laughs by pretending to be idiots will eventually be flooded by actual idiots who mistakenly believe that they're in good company.
Advent having natural growth instead is a really good thing.
