First I thought they were staying because the anniversary was delayed (could just do it without them if they were gonna leave anyway). I figured they were suspended and Cover was just covering it up to protect their reputation (yes they dicksuck males THAT hard).

Graduating after a debut would be a terrible idea. It would ruin all the initial hype that they worked on building up to the debut. It's much better to do the opposite because then it's easier for the fans to move on instead being in morning for a long while.

if it isn't a leaker problem I'd guess it's contract negotation. if people demand the boys get equal treatment then welp, rushia was terminated for leaking to korekore (not unlike a nip falseeyed only actually much-better connected). there being no mention or rrat-squashing on cover's part or the part of the boys doesn't make it seem like a minor thing, like if it wasn't a big deal the boys could have at least lightly explained the situation by now. if everyone has a gag order on the subject, it's serious.

Quite a lot of them has shifted time slots ever since, and in general. Most of EN fans are vod watchers like that other anon said. This applies to hololive EN/JP too.

Only a tiny minority of HoloEN viewers care about StarsEN, especially if they have a good cause for termination. Pre-debut is the most important time for hype and people are just sitting on their hands. They'll have exciting new streams to watch after. It makes sense to postpone till after debut.

Vesper and Magni getting fired after the EN3 debuts is unlikely. Cover doesn't have a problem firing employees but they wouldn't rain on the parade of a new EN gen. If their disagreement with management was that bad they would have already made the graduation announcements. The radio silent "health" breaks in holoEN indicate that suspensions can sometimes go on for months. They might announce their return in a week or in 2 months.

I think it's more a problem of the drama caused by the no doubt nasty unicorn vs beggar fights that would spring up after a firing, rather than a huge audience overlap. They've had to lock down Reddit over that shit in the past and I think it was be a distraction at a time when Holo fans should be pretty unified and focused on the new girls. Holostars management is more lenient than hololive management which expects the girls to be more obedient. Ina got in trouble merely for saying that she doesn't like revealing outfits. She canceled her game streams for that week and went radio silent for her sudden 3 month "health" break. Laplus had the same thing happen when she missed a 3D holoX collab and needed a 3 month break. Sure does look similar to Nijisanji with their radio silent "vacations". Cover has changed their story with Haachama so often that the manager statements have turned into an overly complicated soap opera.

Since no one else mentioned it there's one thing that's suspicious happening behind the scenes. NotMagni suddenly stopped streaming on July 8th when he's been very active with streaming since January. The only time he took a break was when he went to multiple conventions in June.

If they were getting terminated, the logical approach since this has taken so long is to announce it less than a week before EN3 announcement, so it gets swept under the rug in the hype of a new girls generation. Letting it simmer like this is extremely counterproductive. So frankly it seems like they're working out some dispute with the aim to not terminate them rather than vice versa. Still very funny how much of a headache those two have been for Cover.

And like I said, if it's an actual termination and Cover has legitimate reasons for firing them, most Holofans will not bat an eye at this.
