>>54387749To be completely honestly I've never understood the obsession this board has with trying to "fill deadhours"
JP overlapping each other gets handwaved because they "live in one timezone" but if you actually pay attention to any of the viewer turn out, the vast majority of EN's viewership in NA so it makes sense schedule around EST-PST
They cover 12pm to 12am pretty well so I'm not sure why people are hyper fixated on the idea of there needing to be at least 1 EN streaming through a 24 hour period
Euros get pissy when you mention this but they've never really came out en masse to support streams at EU hours, even Gura's viewership took a hit when she tried to throw EUbros a bone back in 2021, so I don't really get the logic of ENs trying to pander to timezones where there's a very little or no audience for them
And for Mori's case she seems fixated on this idea of leaving her 7pm PDT timeslot that's been working well for her, to avoid overlapping with the new girls, but it's like she doesn't understand she'll just be hurting her own viewership AND still overlapping other ENs, and they wouldn't be growing their own audience so much as just taking in the one she abandoned
I dunno it's like that 24 hour stream warped her brain or something cause she keeps talking about trying to use it to gauge timeslots when that entire event didn't happen under normal circumstances
