Phase would be a step down for Selen, even if Niji is falling apart at the seams. And she's not Hololive material, which would also be the only upward move available. If she did quit and wanted to get into another corpo, vshojo is the only lateral choice. Which would then just be streaming apex 5 days a week anyway.

She has two different outfits planned for the upcoming year, and has a bunch of projects she's been reaching out to people for. She's also mentioned how apex is giving her new opportunities since she's in nijisanji and have been reaching out to her to get her to do stuff which was one of her goals from the very beginning.
On top of that her contract was already renewed around the same time Pomu's was and she has a birthday in October.

I could see her graduating in 2024 but September of this year would be idiotic since she'd have a birthday stream in October where she'd get a ton of money.

Mythic isn't a vtuber corpo. It's just a big name talent agency that's' signed a ton of vtubers. The path for a big English indie is 95% Mythic, 5% MSM. VShojo also remains a possibility, but even if her numbers were better she's less likely to end up there than Nina.

Selen would benefit the least from going to Phase, she's bigger than every talent there combined in terms of subs. Nyanners "reinvents" herself every couple of years and casts aside friends she's made in favor of doing so. I've talked in depth about it before in catalog threads but long story short, she's a wreck and will probably become a fleshtuber with her boyfriend in less than two years.

I've been suspecting part of the reason she left is because she's wanting to do more and more cam stuff while eventually possibly dropping vtubing altogether. VShojo doesn't mind if someone does flesh stuff, but they're still a vtuber company at heart and I'd assume the closest thing they do to having restrictions on someone's content is wanting them to remain a vtuber. Like I'll be honest, I don't watch vshojo. Got nothing against them. Just not my thing, but I do know that the only time I've ever heard anything about "restrictions" was when they were warned that playing Hogwarts legacy might cause drama.
They weren't told they couldn't play it or anything.
Nyanners had several streams taken down for copyrighted music and was banned at least twice for nsfw content being displayed. The girl landed a gig that utilized the one thing she was known for, her voice, and made it sound like it was misery because they occasionally asked her to stream and go to conventions

I genuinely think Nijisanji just doesn't care, because EN is a spinoff branch through and through and it will always be an afterthought to them compared to JP. I'm sure some NijiEN fans will argue the same for HoloEN and though that may be true, HoloEN undeniably treated their talents better (at least they did this year) by giving them a live concert, proper Home 3D for the whole branch, plenty of outfits, unique merchandise that isn't based off of the same template, and it seems like this time there's a proper attempt to shake up management compared to the awful decisions made in 2022. Whether it was just coincidental or not, it resulted in most of branch going MIA and the crying for help kino that was Kiara's sock puppet streams.

Meanwhile NijiEN's management seem bizarrely fine having it rot. They cancelled a concert not only a week after announcing it to where 3/5 Luxiem members made fun of "COVID" being the reason it got sacked, to date Lazulight is still the only wave that has any form of Home 3D and Pomu's is delayed until 2024, Iluna still doesnt have new outfits after more than a year, and the excitement in the fanbase is clearly waning and yet nothing is being done to revitalize it.

The company who bought them is notoriously bad but so far nothing seems to have changed for the worse with VSPO. They even got all 3D this year and are still growing with a couple of newly hired talents so I guess they aren't going to kill their only golden goose.

They do not, it's pretty much just Towa/Matsuri and occasionally Laplus. Matsuri's Apex numbers are god awful outside of a pack opening stream, and Towa offsets that some by playing with big names like Selly, Tsuna and the StartEnd girls. A better example would be this recent Valorant stream where the girls accidently queued into the Holostars team. Ayame "suddenly" crashed, and poor Nene ending up losing Nekkos who outright did not want her playing with boys.

I think the reason why HoloEN works to an extent is because the talents really are their own support network. Yes it's not huge with only 15 members tops after nearly 3 years of existence, but the girls are well acquainted with each other by this point and they know their strengths and weaknesses, for better or ill. And I think there's also more of a "one for all" mentality where everyone is encouraged to work together so that everyone does better, a rising tide lifts all ships or however that saying goes.
NijiEN I don't think really has that same kind of connection, because everyone just separates into their own little groups due to the rate that they just shotguns talents. And it also creates a feeling of internal competition if one group starts to do better than the other, or fear and anxiety that viewers and paying fans will group will the moment a new wave debuts, as Pomu seems to go through nearly every single time. If that one "ALL OUT WAR" discord leak is any indication too, it's clear that NijiEN also isn't the healthiest environment to work in, it just fosters negativity.

I guess there's also the problem that Nijisanji is now pressured by shareholders to constantly exceed Infinite Growth even when its impossible, so that also doesn't help. That and the fanbases are constantly at odds because even when the talents try to force unity, there are certain members that other fanbases just loathe. Even if I liked some of the talents there, it's just a flawed work environment built on shakey foundations and the problems are really starting to show at this point.
