I will write down what I personally thought after watching this MV.
First of all, I think the song itself is good. The title "Avanture" is French for flirting or a romantic adventure. "Holic" in English means being engrossed or addicted. I felt that this song was trying to express an adult atmosphere and allure. Looking at the selected members, it makes sense. However, I was disappointed with the way the MV was expressed. There are two main reasons for this.
The first is the participation of real-life women. I think there are pros and cons to this. Because all the members who are singing this time are wearing swimsuits, I think it is unnecessary and I wonder how compatible the 3D figures of the members are with real-life women.
The second is the explicit depiction. This is the biggest point. I can understand the shooting in the night pool to create an adult atmosphere. However, I can't agree with the scenes where each member takes off their costumes and the bed scenes. Even if it is said to express the allure of an adult, I think it is too explicit or direct. Even if you intend to produce sexiness, it's not surprising if it's interpreted as a sexual depiction. I felt like the girls who were active as idols were tainted. I got a vulgar impression because of this explicit expression.
Until now, we have been enjoying and having fun with the feeling that it might be a "sensitive depiction". However, I felt that the expression this time was too much. Last year, the swimsuit came back, and it became a big event for Hololive, Hololive Summer. They have been selling idols through EXPO, Fes, LIVE, and it has penetrated the public. However, after watching this MV, it might be thought that it is selling by the body after all. That's a big waste. Above all, it's regrettable that the administration made this MV. It is important to increase recognition with innovative ideas. But if it ruins the impression of the members and the signboard of Hololive, it is bad.
