But it is possible, albeit unlikely, that some of his existing fans might decide to check out the new debuts if he introduces them. English is a compulsory subject in Japan(even if it is taught very poorly). There's basically nothing for them to lose and maybe, possibly, a little something to gain. He's just trying to signal boost for them.
