It is really annoying when it gets shoehorned in though. Like if they're having a totally normal conversion with someone and it's like
"...and then I went back to my hou--- MY DRAGON CAVE where I live because I am a dragon!"
Like, just stop.
On the other hand, it is something to have fun with, so ignoring it completely is also weird. If your artist put in the work to make you something, and you've probably go some pun in your name, and so on, you should probably put at least a little effort into it.
Just be chill and have fun with, like Botan trying to eat Watame when they're playing a cooking game.
