Personally I like Rita. Her voice reminds me of Calliope's but her personality is like Calli got hit on the head with a brick and became very kind and polite. Well Calli actually is pretty kind so I'm not sure this comparison works but whatever. Generally I'm drawn towards the mellow VTubers like Ina so I find her to be perfect for me. Ina's voice is nice but it feels like it's gotten higher pitched over time? I noticed Amelia doing the same thing. Not sure what's up with that.

I actually think that's part of their strategy. They have two girls with holo mamas and they're also both WAY ahead of the other three in subs. I think it's no big deal, if they like an artist and the artist is taking commissions, and if they're willing to spend the money on it, then they deserve to be rewarded for it. That said it's not necessarily a guarantee of subs, as evidenced by the Yukisame VTuber with barely over 3k.

It's actually kind of a shame that Kuroboshi and Huke don't seem to be open to commissions and only made VTubers because Hololive has that much sway in the industry, because I liked them even before they were associated with Hololive.

Also, generally speaking shorter videos are a good way increase sub count, but this is especially true in Indonesia where their restrictive data plans make it hard for a lot of people to watch full streams. I've looked at graphs for sub count increases and they always have the sharpest jump on the day that the VTuber posts a song cover or better yet an original song. But shorts do help as well and if you look at the chart on the days Risu posted these you'll see a pretty substantial increase. Lots of people were pointing out what a great effect it had on her subs. Of course there are people who defy all logic like Ollie who is rocketing to #1 in HoloID out of pure charisma.

Luto said she was a fan of Nachoneko's art way before becoming a vtuber. She also said that she didn't request her artist and it was a complete surprise that they chose Nacho. Maybe Captain stalked through her twitter or something to figure out who's best artist for her.

Another problem with Gura's model is that the mouth is weirdly modeled so she opens her mouth and you can't see her tongue unless she opens it wide, which makes her mouth look weird and flat flat. Luto doesn't have this problem, you can always see the tongue even when it's open just slightly. And you see Gura making this face a lot because she talks quietly so it's not fun. Someday there is going to be a big model update of Gura and people are going to wonder how we tolerated Gura's old model for so long.

Does anyone else think Nacho sounds really similar to the anime voice actor Ayane Sakura? Obviously it's not her but it's interesting how many people with similar-sounding voices in the world, that a famous artist that became a VTuber would have such a similar voice to a famous voice actor.

I just looked into this and on a reddit post with someone asking about it, someone in the comments told him "Go back." First time I've ever seen Reddit tell someone to go back to 4chan lmao. Shows you this site is getting out of hand. Anyway, I don't see why she couldn't have pre-recorded it so it's not really debunked.
