in that way they seem more corporate; saying nothing at all of substance means more risk averse. they say less of importance and thus less worth focusing on (a lot of people use streams as a side-monitor filler).
but on the other hand, this makes them kind of ephemeral; being yappy noise DOES make them more anime-like, and that's going to have big appeal for people. a lot of people want to leave the flesh at the door entirely.
i do feel like it leans slightly negative to me. i want all drama left at the door, but i also feel like they'll be one of those girls who gets pushed to the backlog because there's going to be streams and vods to watch that i can get more of substance out of. this could and likely will change as they start playing actual games (this phogs stream was a dud and not indicative) and their Typing of the Dead stream is going to be fucking wild. but their zatsus.. i just don't see myself emotionally investing.
