Being under the Hololive banner gives a huge advantage just because redditors will default to giving you a chance when their oshi isn't streaming. Meanwhile if you're a 2view they won't even look in your direction without the blue dorito, even if your content is identical.
It's a total no brainer to join Hololive if your primary goal is money. Even people like Anya and Ame who otherwise deserve to languish in 2view hell can make a comfortable living as a 3rd or 4th choice during dead hours. If they were in Nijisanji or Phase Connect or any other corpo they'd be struggling to have any viewers at all. That's a testament to Hololive's brand power over normalfags.
